Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is perfect for writers who have recently finished or are close to finishing their first draft and want guidance on taking it to the next level through self-editing.
Do I need previous editing experience?
No prior editing experience is required! We’ll walk you through each step, so you’ll feel confident regardless of where you’re starting from.
What if I need more help with editing?
Ingrid provides 1:1 coaching to help you get on your way. Start with the workshop, and if you're still feeling overwhelmed, you can continue with a coaching consultation to build your confidence and keep you moving forward.
Is it all right if my book was written during NaNoWriMo?
Of course! This workshop is perfect if you'd like to continue your writing journey with the draft you created during NaNoWriMo. In fact, these self-editing tips will guide you toward a polished product.
I haven't quite finished my novel (or) I am writing a shorter story (novella, short story, etc.). Is this still useful?
Absolutely! The editing skills you'll learn in this workshop are helpful for all lengths, styles, and genres of writing. Plus, the more you practice these steps while editing, the better you'll become as a writer in your early drafts!
Is there a timeline for when I need to complete the 5 steps?
Not at all! The steps are a guide, and they will take each author more or less time depending on the details of the manuscript. You could complete these steps in a few weeks or take months, but it's up to you.
There's limited space, so register now to hold your place in the DECEMBER 03 live workshop.
