While I do provide editing services, my goal is to help authors feel comfortable editing their own stories before they spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on editors.
Why hire a coach instead of an editor?
Learning to edit makes you a better writer. Period.
Whether you struggle with language skills or worldbuilding, making characters feel real or filling plot holes, choosing verbs or knowing when to use a comma or a period, you can always improve your writing skills.
But sometimes we're too close to our own writing. Having someone else's eyes on your work is a great start, but having someone give you feedback that actually improves your writing skills overall builds your confidence for long-term success.
